This is an important find! It confirms Timothy's parents name and the townland the Harrington family lived in. Shilintane Townland, Dunmanway, County Cork, Ireland.
Also important are the sponsors: Thomas Lyons and Ellen Hurley. These are probably family members.
Hi there, I'm on the ancestor trail too. My 4th great grandparents came from Dunmanway. they were Daniel McCarthy and Mary Collins, and had a son Cornelius, he moved to the east end of London. I have McCarthy's, O'Brien's, and Donovan's in my family. They all come from the West Cork area. Love the photo of Dunmanway Square, keep up the good work! Miss R O'Brien. Somerset England.
